Kimberley Caldewey
Kimberley Caldewey has called Santa Rosa home for over 40 years. Since her arrival, she has been active in the struggle for immigrant and workers' rights, as well as in opposition to U.S.-sponsored aggression and war. Kim trained as a Physician's Assistant, working first at Alliance Medical Center and then Santa Rosa Community Health centers before joining the Sonoma County Department of Health Services in the Public Health Division. Her work included emergency preparedness and involved the response to the Tubbs and other wildfires; in later years, she was part of the county's COVID-19 pandemic response efforts. KBBF was a key partner in the communication and education of Spanish and indigenous-speaking communities during those disasters. Kim is honored to serve as Secretary of the Board of Directors of KBBF. Adelante!
