Chris Castillo
Chris Castillo has lived in Sonoma County for more than 50 years and has dedicated her life's work to families and children who have experienced difficulties that have brought profound challenges to their lives. She feels that, as many of us do, that we learn so much from the work that we do and we are better able to share and inspire others through all that we have learned to leave the world a bit better with each day. She believes strongly in the mission of KBBF and the importance of public radio, more now than ever, in bringing the truth forth to all who listen. Being the first Spanish language radio station in the country brings with a legacy that must be imparted and shared with our world. KBBF and it's many volunteers provide safe haven to those listeners who may need it, as well as continuing to inform our public as well as entertain to make it so vital. Chris is inspired by all of the volunteers who make KBBF what it is and her mission when working with KBBF is to continue to seek the fiscal resources required to maintain the station for years to come. Chris feels it to be a true honor to serve as a member of the Board of Directors of KBBF.
